Primary and Pediatrics

I am getting to hang out with kids all the time right now and love it. I am doing my pediatrics rotation right now during the week, then on Sunday I am in the Primary presidency and get to listen to them sing and learn. It really is amazing. I am loving both of them. My funny quote from primary happened with the singing leader was trying to explain to the kids how much Jesus loves them.

Sister Leatham: "I love my kids SO MUCH; I just love them to pieces. Even with how much I love my kids Jesus loves them more."

Thomas (8 or 9 yrs old): "So he loves them to molecules??"

haha...very smart I hadn't really thought of it like that.

My funny quote in pediatrics happened when I went into a room to see an 18 month old little boy. His three year old sister was sitting in the corner and the moment I walked in the room she stood up and said, "I AM NOT THE ONE WHO HAS TO GET A SHOT...I ALREADY HAD ONE, SO GIVE IT TO HIM NOT ME." I told her that she wouldn't get a shot. I did my exam, then went to get the doctor when he walked in the door she did the exact same thing. I had to laugh, because she was so worried and because she was so fine with letting her brother take the heat. Hopefully over the next little while I'll have more cute things to post.

Rock climbing

In an effort to push Rich's gross pictures of his toe and the Nasty Mustache pictures from the top of the blog, I will post pictures of rock climbing. This was a great girls night. I felt so proud and empowered every time I made it to the top.

Recent Sedwick Exploits

This is Rich, and every once in a while I like to get in on the posts, so here I am. Lately I've been busy with tests, and I've got another week's worth, but then there's spring break, which I'm really looking forward to. Anyway, I wanted to share some big events. First, I lost a toenail. Yeah, gross, but man, it feels good to be rid of it. I think getting your toe smashed up is an experience that no one should have, so hopefully it never happens to you. Anyway, I hope you guys like what you see.

Secondly, as many of you've noticed, I've grown some facial hair lately, and I've decided to shave. Heather shed many tears over my shave, maybe you'll understand with pictures.
